An initiative to support local mommy bloggers

We like to share the love with other bloggers

In association with Laura and Heather over at SA MOM Blogs today, we took a bold step to encourage more sharing of content by the amazing mommy bloggers that we have in South Africa. The purpose was simply to encourage engagement, support for each other as mommy bloggers.  The rules are simple,  each blogger showcases their work and then shares the posts of all the others bloggers in the threads on social media.

My lessons from Day 1

What I have learned since the thread started this morning is:

  • It is difficult to be the first one who posts in a new thread with new requirements. So I would like to give a special shout out to all the bloggers who took part so far, but especially to Mandy-Lee Miller from   Tum 2 Tots for being the first
  • There is some amazing content in our mommy blogger community
  • When you share other people’s  content on your blog’s FB page, you get more engagement

It has certainly been fun for me, to read posts from blogs I follow and those I did not before this, and for me to see just how the journeys of mothers and of being more than a mother is one we all share.

As we continue to share the posts, I just want to thank all those who took part in thread and supported others bloggers.
