Sorry, There are no pets here to meet
This topic made me laugh , because, I admit I am not a pet person. Really I can barely keep myself alive, so pets would be an over achievement.
My Ex- Pets
3 years ago before my second son was born we had a dog, he was a sausage dog mix and he was given to my eldest son when he was about 9 months old they grew up together and they loved each other. This little dog loved me and followed me everywhere, looking at me sadly with those pathetic eyes, it was very creepy.
Unfortunately, he got out of the gate and was stolen, TheHeir was completely heartbroken.
Later we got a couple of rabbits for my son, because he like them, I always ended up having to feed them or chase them around and finally they died and we never replaced them. Below is the only picture of one them eating my flowers,
Now we are living (or let me say I am living, a pet free existance), I keep hearing mutterings from the males in the house wanting to get a dog but I am ignoring them . I am not planning to be reponsible for any pet that someone else wanted again.
I would love to hear from someone else who is not planning to have pets, what are you reasons ??
Have a great week

I will be honest that I am not much of one either. Loved them when I was younger, but not so much now. 🙂 This post did make me laugh when I opened it!
February 8, 2016 at 6:54 amLOL… this one made me chuckle! I love it! We were anti animals for a long while before we decided to give it a try. Now our hearts are forever changed for our little pup, he’s totally part of the family.

February 12, 2016 at 1:57 pmReminds me of my pet bunny growing up. I have two puppies now and you’re right, it ends up being Moms work because the kids get bored with them.
February 12, 2016 at 1:58 pmThey drive me crazy hey
February 12, 2016 at 2:36 pmHahah this is so funny! I couldn’t imagine having Bunnies. I feel like their upkeep would be way too high maintenance. We have two dogs and they are both so easy to take care of! Thanks for linking up!

I am the complete opposite. I have never lived without at least 2 pets in the house. It’s been mostly cats and dogs sometimes both at the same time. But, I’ve even had a tarantula, scorpion and lizard all at different times. Now I have 4 cats and I’ve had them for more than 13 years. I can’t really imagine my life without pets but I know many people who feel just like you do.
February 13, 2016 at 5:39 amWow thats is amazing hey, you sound like you enjoy and love that so that is great. thank you so much for stopping by to comment
February 15, 2016 at 11:40 amWe used to have a couple bunnies, years ago. We also had 2 dogs at one time when our kids were young. My daughters still love dogs and each have one in their own homes. Not me and my husband. When we became empty nesters we became empty nesters . No one to look after but ourselves. Works nicely that way 🙂 SO I don’t blame you!
February 13, 2016 at 8:10 amHahahahah I love that yes I am imagine you were quite happy to not have to pet sit all the time thank you for stopping by
February 15, 2016 at 11:39 amAttack of the bunnies! LOL We have a cat that was a stray in our old neighborhood and my husband adopted it…she seems to cuddle with me more than the guys, go figure. I’d rather not have anything other than fish or birds though.
February 15, 2016 at 5:05 pmhahhaaha Oh I love cats but the boys are allergic cats are so low maintenance. thank you so much for stopping by to comment I appreciate it
February 16, 2016 at 10:39 amSomeone stole your dog ? That’s awful, so sorry. We have an inside cat, very low maintenance. Much less than a dog or a rabbit, I’ve had both !
February 15, 2016 at 10:27 pmYes it happens quite frequently to the smaller breeds. I like to think they stole him to love him
February 16, 2016 at 10:38 amThe rabbits though were a lot of work and they like to escape thank you so much for stopping by to comment I relly appreciate it
Hysterical. I loved that you titled this “ex-pets”. It made me laugh. I currently do not have pets, but would love a dog. I grew up in a house with them so I miss it. But my husband is not an animal person, and he’s allergic. Or he says he is. But I think if I was home enough, I would definitely have bargained harder for a dog. Trying to be responsible here…
February 16, 2016 at 2:57 amhahahaha Lara I love your husband’s excuse its hard argue with an allergy and I understand your thinking pets need attention, but maybe one you will get one. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting
February 16, 2016 at 10:37 amI love pets of all furry and feathery kinds! Currently, I have two birds. My parents have an African Grey and recently two guinea pigs.
February 18, 2016 at 3:28 amWith animals and kids, it can be difficult though if mom and/or dad is going to be the one who ends up doing all the work. Might have to be something the kids wait for until they can truly be responsible for the dog or whatever you’d take home.

Hello Shannon thanks for stopping by I really apprecitate it
February 19, 2016 at 12:16 amWe’ve had pets in the past but I’m refusing to ave any more. I don’t want my house wrecked or smelling like dog, I don’t want vet bills and the extra responsibility. Even if I do miss the walking and the cuddles.
